Microsoft Intune Inventory Event Monitor

Populates an inventory tab for Microsoft Intune network devices.

Overview

The Microsoft Intune Inventory Event Monitor connects to your Intune devices and creates a new device tab for each of them containing inventory information.

Monitoring Options

This event monitor provides the following options:

  • Alert with [Info/Warning/Error/Critical] if Azure cannot be contacted: This option will send you an alert if FrameFlow cannot establish a connection with Azure.
  • Alert with [Info/Warning/Error/Critical] if the device is not found in Microsoft Intune: This alert will be triggered if one or more of the devices you've added to the monitor cannot be found in Intune.
  • Alert with [Info/Warning/Error/Critical] if the detected applications list has changed since the last run: This option will send you an alert of your choosing if the list of applications has changed since the last time the event monitor ran a check.
  • Applications to Ignore: Here, add the names, IDs, or IP addresses of apps you don't want the event monitor to monitor, separating each new entry with a comma.

Authentication and Security

The account used to authenticate must have the following permissions at both the application and delegated level:

  • DeviceManagementManagedDevices.Read.All
  • DeviceManagementManagedDevices.ReadWrite.All
  • DeviceManagementConfiguration.Read.All
  • DeviceManagementConfiguration.ReadWrite.All
  • User.Read
  • Organization.Read.All
