Overview
This monitor connects to remote Windows machines to check the device manager's list for any devices that are in a failed state. It provides timely alerts on any discrepancies found, ensuring quick attention to potential issues.

Use Cases
- Proactive Monitoring: Receive alerts for all failed devices, excluding those you opt to ignore.
Monitoring Options
Connectivity Alerts
- Device Contact: Alert with [Info/Warning/Error/Critical] if PIM+ could not contact the selected device.
Failure Detection
- Failed Devices: Alert with [Info/Warning/Error/Critical] if any failed devices are detected.
Device Exclusions
- Text Filter: Ignore devices whose names contain any of the specified text strings.
- Ignore Disabled Devices: Choose to exclude disabled devices from alerts to focus on active issues.
Authentication and Security
The account used for authentication needs to be robust:
- Must be a member of both the Performance Monitor Users group and the Distributed COM Users group, or possess admin rights.
